On February 17th – 20th, 2025, members of International Courses Department of Armed Forces Academy of GEN M. R. Stefanik (SVK AFA) participated at important events, the Annual Discipline Forum (ADF) and the PTEC Marketplace, which were held in Mons, Belgium. These events represent key platforms in the field of military planning, security studies and interdisciplinary cooperation.

Annual Discipline Forum (ADF) is an annual meeting of experts from different countries, focused on discussing the latest trends, challenges and strategies in the field of military and defense planning. The outcomes of the discussions are subsequently implemented in military doctrines and training programs, which contributes to the deepening of professional knowledge. The event also provides a unique opportunity to strengthen international relations and build networks, as experts from different countries work together to address common challenges in the field of security and defense.

PTEC Marketplace is another key event held together with ADF.  Partnership Training and Education Centres present their educational programs, exchange best practices and strengthen interoperability between NATO and partner countries.

The participation of SVK AFA at those prestigious events was an opportunity not only to deepen expertise in the field of military planning and security, but also to strengthen cooperation with other military and training institutions within NATO. Such forums are invaluable for building international partnerships, which are the basis for effective defense policy and security cooperation.
