From 19th to 22nd May 2025, an international command and staff exercise of the NATO MNMPBAT multinational military police battalion, CPX SHARP LYNX 2025, was held at Simulation Center of Armed Forces Academy of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik in Liptovský Mikuláš. The exercise was represented by attendants from six countries: the Czech Republic, the Republic of Croatia, the Republic of Poland, Hungary, Georgia, the Slovak Republic and one observer from South Korea.
The exercise steering group prepared 15 incidents and situations for the trainees to respond to. The main goal was to train the battalion command and staff in planning and managing police operations to ensure the activities of the multinational division. The activities of unit commanders and their reactions to individual tasks and incidents were also evaluated. The secondary objective of the exercise was to align the activities of the steering group before the peak of the training effort, which will be the implementation of the exercise with the actual deployment of NATO MNMPBAT units.
“During the exercise, NATO MNMPBAT members demonstrated a high level of professionalism and readiness to face various pitfalls while conducting defensive operations,” expressed members of the steering group that prepared the exercise.
