The main tasks, structure, university and career education, science and research and international cooperation were presented to the guests. During the discussion, the visitors were interested in several areas. System of setting up and involvement in science and research projects, the internal quality assurance system and the accreditation process according to the standards of the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education, accreditation according to NATO standards, communication with the General Staff of Slovak Armed Forces and subsequent feedback were the main topics of discussion.
In the afternoon, the Hungarian Dean visited International Courses Department, where an extraordinary course of planning and decision-making at the tactical level of command and control was taking place from May 9th to May 19th, 2023, based on Hungary's request. 18 officers from the Hungarian Armed Forces completed it together with Slovak students, which gave them the opportunity to deepen mutual cooperation and build another "cross-border bridge". As this course was for the Hungarian students part of their master's education at the University of Public Service - Ludovika in Budapest, their dean's interest in their work on the course itself was an encouragement and an honor for them.
Chief of ICD, LTC Rene Hecko, presented to the guests history, main tasks and portfolio of courses offered in English to participants from NATO and Partner countries.
