The international 6-member team competition Allrounder 2025 broke records again this year. On September 21st – 27th, 2025, Armed Forces Academy of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik in Liptovský Mikuláš welcomed twelve teams from partner military educational institutions from ten countries: Slovakia, Norway, Greece, Portugal, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, Bulgaria and Serbia, who participated in the competition.
A week-long stay in Liptov region gave the students not only an opportunity to enjoy the nature and to learn about the culture of Slovakia, but also to develop their skills in the field of military-practical education.
The first day, participants experienced a hike to Popradské pleso and took a walk around Štrbské pleso in the High Tatras. Afternoon was dedicated to military-practical activities, such as climbing, swimming and close combat training. The opening day culminated with the Icebreaker event, during which team leaders lit a symbolic bonfire as a sign of unity and friendship between the participating countries.
Following days continued with the main point of the program – a military-sports competition, which tested the physical and mental readiness of the participants in six disciplines: grenade throwing, obstacle course, swimming relay in uniform, shooting from a short and long weapon, cross-country running and rafting.
After demanding performances, the participants could rest and enjoy a well-deserved relaxation in the thermal spring in Kalameny.
The final day was dedicated to Low Tatras visit. Participants were divided into two groups – one visited the Demänovská Cave of Freedom, the other climbed the Chopok mountain (2024 m above sea level).
Week full of experiences was concluded with a festive evening in the form of a banquet. The true Slovak atmosphere was ensured by live folklore music, which made the evening more enjoyable with singing and playing Slovak folk songs. The participants tried out traditional dance steps and at the end everyone sang together.
