From 25 to 29 May, LT Ščuroková participated in an Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility, while LT Minár took part in a Training Mobility at the Language Training Centre of the University of Defence in Brno.

The five-day mobility focused on the exchange of professional experience in the fields of language education, modern teaching methodologies, and the development of international cooperation between partner educational institutions. The Language Training Centre of the University of Defence is one of the leading institutions providing language education, NATO STANAG 6001 language testing, and methodological support for foreign language instruction within the defence sector.

During the Teaching Mobility, LT Ščuroková carried out teaching activities, shared her experience in English language instruction, and presented the approaches used at the Armed Forces Academy. Discussions with Czech colleagues provided valuable insights into innovative teaching methods, the integration of digital technologies into education, and opportunities for further developing the language competencies of both students and professional military personnel.

As part of the Training Mobility, LT Minár participated in professional training sessions, methodological meetings, and consultations focusing on the organization of language education, the NATO STANAG 6001 testing system, and the exchange of best practices in the preparation and delivery of language courses. The programme also included discussions on expanding mutual cooperation and implementing joint international activities.

The mobility provided both participants with an opportunity to establish new professional contacts, gain inspiration for further improving the quality of the educational process, and strengthen cooperation between the Armed Forces Academy and the Language Training Centre of the University of Defence in Brno. The knowledge and experience gained will be applied to the further development of language education and the implementation of modern teaching methods into educational practice.

Participation in the Erasmus+ mobility once again confirmed the importance of international cooperation in higher military education. It contributed to broadening the professional competencies of both participants while further strengthening the partnership between the cooperating institutions. The Erasmus+ Programme supports the mobility of higher education teaching and non-teaching staff with the aim of enhancing professional skills and fostering international cooperation.
